Cabbage bell pepper Pickle recipe


  1. In a small bowl mix together juice of 1 small lemon,
  2. 3 tbsp. of Olive oil,
  3. 1 tbsp. white vinegar,
  4. ½ tsp garlic powder and ½ tsp salt,
  5. 2 chopped orange bell pepper
  6. 2 heaping tbsp. chopped lettuce. Now start on the salad.

How to Prepare:

Wash your veggies. Thinly slice 1 small cabbage and place in a large mixing bowl. Chop 1 small head of broccoli into small piece. Cut bell pepper into small strips. Chop green onions, about ½ cup. Add to the mixing bowl. Pour the dressing over the salad and mix until all the vegetables are nicely coated with the dressing. Serve with fish Vada.

Eggless Mayonnaise Recipe

Mayonaise mix


  1. Milk – 1 cup
  2. Corn flour -3 tbsp.
  3. Olive/grape seed Oil – 1tbs each
  4. pepper powder – 1tsp
  5. finely chopped cucumber/capsicum/olives/Mint
  6. coriander paste – 2tsp
  7. mustard seeds 1tsp
  8. lemon juice – 1tbs
  9. salt to taste.

How to Prepare:

Take corn flour in a mixing bowl and add ¼ cup milk to it. Whisk it well without any lumps. Pour the mixture to a non-stick pan and add the remaining milk. Mix well and cook at a low flame. Keep stirring until the mixture thickens in few minutes. The mixture will become very thick and soft; at this stage allow the mixture to cool. Dry roast the mustard seeds and grind to a coarse powder. Crush the black peppercorns and set aside. Once the mixture is cooled blend it to a smooth paste. Add pepper powder, mustard powder, salt, Mint/coriander paste Mix well. Store eggless mayonnaise in an airtight bottle and refrigerate then  add finely chopped cucumber / capsicum / olives while serving.

Rajma (Kidney Beans) Sider recipe

Kidney beans


  1. 3 Cup of soaked and boiled kidney beans
  2. ¾ cup chopped tomatoes
  3. ¾ cup thinly sliced onions
  4. 1 tbsp. finely chopped spring onion greens
  5. 1tsp olive oil
  6. Jeera ajwain roasted powder, sliced onions, finely chopped spring onions greens chilies

How to Prepare:

Add jeera ajwain roasted powder sauté sliced onions, finely chopped spring onions greens and add chopped tomatoes when onion turn golden brown. Now add soaked and boiled kidney beans.  Let it cool down. Combine all the ingredients for the salad in a bowl, toss well. Just before serving, add the dressing and toss well. Serve with fish Vada as an add on supplement with eggless mint cucumber /olives/capsicum mayonnaise salad and cabbage bell pepper salad.
