OnePlus released an official trailer on Weibo, which shows the device kept in front of a mirror. The backside of OnePlus 3T looks same like OnePlus 3 in terms of camera and logo placement. Inside the mirror, we can see the smartphone’s reflection with the word ‘T’ written on it.
Earlier OnePlus has confirmed a new device is on the way, and it will launch tomorrow. According to an earlier post by an OnePlus designer on Weibo, the device will be called OnePlus 3T.
The launch OnePlus 3T will be on Facebook Live, and will be starting on November 15 at 1pm EST.
The upcoming smart phone is an upgrade to OnePlus 3 and will come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor.
According to rumours, it is also expected to come with Android 7.0 Nougat running out of the box, along with Sony’s IMX398 16MP camera sensor. OnePlus will also go with an LCD display instead of an AMOLED one. The Verge reports that OnePlus 3T will come with 8GB RAM, the highest ever seen in a smart phone.
The battery in upcoming OnePlus smart phone could be between 3,500 mAh to 4,000 mAh. And just like OnePlus 3, this one will support the company’s Dash Charge technology.
OnePlus 3 was announced in India as Amazon exclusive in mid-2016 at Rs 27,999. The smart phone comes with a quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor, along with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Reports suggest, OnePlus 4 is expected to launch in mid-2017. It will be running on a Snapdragon 830 chipset, and come with a 4,000 mAh battery (25 per cent more than the OnePlus 3).
Well renowned tipster Evan Blass had said in a tweet that OnePlus 3T will be priced $80 more than the original device. This means the new phone could be priced at $479 (approx. Rs 32,000).
